Arctic Expedition Opportunity for Early Career Scientists

The Swedish Polar Research Secretariat invites Early Career Scientists to participate in the Canada-Sweden Arctic Ocean Expedition 2025. This unique research program will take place aboard the Swedish Icebreaker Oden and the Canadian Icebreaker CCGS Louis S. St-Laurent from August 9 to September 19, 2025.

  6. Water Isotopes
  7. Sea Ice Properties

Eligibility

Early Career Scientists, defined as master’s students, PhD students, or scientists who received their PhD within the past seven years. Applicants affiliated with Swedish or Canadian universities will be prioritized.
